SRCA Art Educator Mini-Grant
Now Open to Art Teachers throughout the Stones River Watershed of Tennessee's Bedford, Cannon, Davidson, Rutherford and Wilson Counties.The Stones River Crafts Association (SRCA), sponsors of the long-running Studio Tour and partners in regional arts initiatives, including the Boro Art Crawl (https://boroartcrawl.com), is pleased to announce the opening of the 2025-26 SRCA Art Educator Mini-Grant. This annual grant supports K–12 Art Educators across the Stones River watershed counties: Bedford, Cannon, Davidson, Rutherford, and Wilson. Thanks to a generous matching donor, this year’s award has been increased to $1,000, doubling the support available for classroom, studio, and community arts engagement.
Who May Apply
•Any K–12 art teacher in a public, private, or homeschool setting within the five-countywatershed.
•Collaborative proposals between teachers are welcome.
Preferred Project Focus
While all creative proposals will be considered, projects emphasizing craft-based practices are especially encouraged, including:
•Ceramics
•Fiber Arts & Textiles
•Woodworking
•Metals & Jewelry
•Mixed Media / Assemblage
• Sculpture
• Book Arts
• Printmaking
Projects may support classroom instruction, student participation, community connection, or innovative applications of fine craft.
Award Amount
$1,000.00 (Funded through SRCA + Matching Donor Contribution)
Funds may be used for materials, equipment, guest artists, tools, or other project-supporting needs.
